Splinter Cell: Blacklist is the latest instalment in the highly regarded stealth-action Splinter Cell series and although currently unconfirmed, its expected release date is April 3rd 2013. Produced by Ubisoft's Jade Raymond, Splinter Cell: Blacklist sees players don the infra-red goggles of protagonist Sam Fisher as he takes command of the Fourth Echelon, charged with thwarting a new global terrorist initiative. Fans have complained about the ditching of long-standing vactor Michael Ironside, although he has passed the torch and agreed to assist new Fisher Eric Johnson in the role. As well as a single-player campaign, Blacklist will feature the series' popular spies versus mercs multiplayer mode. Splinter Cell: Blacklist is set to release on Xbox 360, PC and PS3
